Innovative fittings solutions support the hot topic of HANDLE-LESS furniture
In “IKB Kitchen and Bath” in New Delhi (July 22-24) Austrian fittings manufacturer Blum presented to an expert audience innovative fittings solutions on the hot topic of HANDLE-LESS furniture, together with Häfele, Blum’s partner in India. To mark the occasion, a gigantic design wall made its debut on the subcontinent.
Three metres high and nearly ten metres wide – these are the awe-inspiring dimensions of the design wall Blum showcased at the “IKB Kitchen and Bath” for the first time on the Indian trade show circuit. The design wall allows for a real-life touch-and-feel experience of Blum’s innovative lift, hinge and pull-out systems. The entirely handle-less wall invited trade show visitors to test a wide range of Blum products.
Blum presented Legrabox, the purist box system with straight side panels in two finishes, the corresponding inner dividing system Ambia-Line featuring unrestricted positioning of frames, and the latest motion technology Tip-On Blumotion which combines simple mechanical opening by a single touch and soft and effortless closing thanks to the Blumotion dampening system. Servo-Drive, the electric motion support by Blum, makes opening and closing of lift systems in wall cabinets and pull-outs in base cabinets even more convenient.
With the Space Tower, the fittings specialist showcased a larder unit with inner pull-outs as an outstandingly convenient alternative to existing solutions. Inner pull-outs that can be opened individually enable visibility from all sides and easy access to contents. The Space Tower can be planned to meet individual height, width and depth requirements, making it a true storage space miracle that can be adjusted to the household size and individual shopping habits of kitchen users.
