FMC and WBCP will host the “China Water-Borne Furniture Paint and Coating Seminar” on the scene of the exhibition. The 13th Five-Year Plan puts forward the requirements for seven key industries on the total emission reduction of coating VOCs, which for the furniture manufacturing industry should reach more than 50%. According to the report released by the WBCP last year, the water-borne coating for wood only accounted for 5%, with a very lower proportion of sales at less than 50,000 tons. The conference will focus on addressing various challenges “oil replaced by water” faces and their counter measures, and invite leading furniture enterprises succeeding in application of water-borne coating to join the discussion and exchange. A series of water-borne coating forums enable the combination of online lecture and offline forum, powering the high-speed development of China’s green furniture business.
